When I started PARC, it wasn't because I wanted to create another hydration product.
It started with a belief.
I believed soccer deserved better.
Better care. Better products. Better experiences.
That was the thesis.
I wasn't interested in making another hydration product. I was interested in building the hydration product that soccer deserved.
For too long, we've accepted generic sports drinks built for everyone instead of products designed specifically for the unique demands of soccer. Tournament weekends. Summer heat. Consecutive matches. Limited recovery. Soccer asks a lot of us. I didn't think hydration had kept up.
That belief became an obsession.
I started asking a simple question:
What would hydration look like if it were built specifically for soccer players?
Along the way, I met Dr. Matt Fujita.
We first spent time together during an incredibly demanding stretch that consisted of a compressed training camp and tournament where Matt was responsible for keeping our players healthy, prepared and performing at their best.
Matt understands soccer from both sides.
He was a collegiate soccer player, and today, after more than sixteen years working in professional athletics and sports medicine, he spends his career caring for athletes.
Matt is a pro at what he does. He's incredibly sharp, has high standards and genuinely cares about the athletes he works with.
Over the past few months, we've talked a lot about PARC.
Matt never simply told me the product was good.
He challenged it.
Asked thoughtful questions.
Shared feedback.
Made me think harder about why every ingredient belonged.
Those conversations made PARC better.
Along the way, Matt started incorporating PARC into the way he cares for athletes. I'd see him on the sidelines making sure players had PARC before kickoff, at halftime and between matches. It quietly became part of his routine.
Eventually, he brought it into his clinic.
Then into his own home.
He recently told me:
"My wife has worked hard to remove artificial ingredients from our family's diet. We were enjoying LMNT, but after looking at what PARC offers, we switched. We have three boys playing high-level sports in different environments, and they need products that help their bodies perform efficiently."
That meant a lot to me coming from someone I respect.
Later, I asked Matt one simple question.
What makes PARC different?
His answer wasn't about hype.
It was about formulation.
“What stands out about PARC is how thoughtfully the formula considers what soccer asks of the body. It brings together all four key electrolytes with ingredients selected to support hydration, focus and recovery. Without relying on stimulants.”
PARC still begins with a belief.
That soccer deserves better.
But belief alone isn't enough.
It has to be challenged.
Questioned.
Improved.
And ultimately trusted by the people whose job is caring for players.
That's why Dr. Matt's perspective matters to me.
Not because it proved I was right.
Because it made PARC better.
Take care,
Ben
