We've all been there.
A hot soccer complex on tournament weekend. Three guaranteed matches before the knockout rounds even begin. Hours spent in the sun. Long breaks between games that never quite feel long enough. Trying to eat, recover, cool down and prepare for the next kickoff before doing it all over again.
Tournament weekends are different.
Everything is compressed. The matches. The recovery. The travel. The heat. Every decision you make throughout the day compounds, and hydration becomes even more important than it would on a normal training day.
One of the most common questions we get is simple:
When should I drink PARC?
Closely followed by:
- Can I drink more than one in a day?
- What makes PARC different from other electrolyte drinks?
- Should I drink it before or after my match?
They're all good questions. But they all start with the same thing.
Preparation.
Tournament weekends demand more
It's easy to become dehydrated on a normal day.
It's incredibly common during a tournament.
Multiple matches, high temperatures, constant movement and limited recovery windows all place additional demands on players. As dehydration increases, physical performance begins to suffer—but so can concentration, decision-making and the little moments that often decide close matches.
Tournament weekends don't just ask more of your body.
They ask more of your mind too.
Why we formulated PARC the way we did
When we built PARC, we didn't build it around one moment.
We built it around the entire tournament weekend.
The electrolyte profile was formulated to help replenish what players lose through sweat, while keeping the sodium level at a point that supports hydration without becoming so aggressive that it creates stomach issues during play.
Beyond hydration, every ingredient serves a purpose.
Tart cherry powder was included to begin supporting the recovery process between matches.
A B-vitamin complex was included because soccer creates mental fatigue just as much as physical fatigue, especially late in games.
Every ingredient was chosen because of the demands the sport places on players.
So... when should you drink it?
My answer is always the same.
Drink it when it fits how you play and prepare.
PARC isn't a regimented product. It's a tool.
Every player has their own routine.
Maybe it's the boot you put on first.
Maybe it's the music you listen to on the drive.
Maybe it's the way you walk onto the field before kickoff.
Or maybe it's what you drink before your match.
PARC was designed to fit naturally into those rituals, whether that's before your first game, between matches, after the final whistle, or throughout the day.
The best routine is the one you'll actually stick to.
Tournament weekends are why we built PARC
The deeper you go in a tournament, the harder the weekend becomes.
The legs get heavier.
Recovery windows get shorter.
Every match asks a little more than the one before it.
We built PARC because we know exactly what those weekends feel like.
Not from reading about them.
From living them.
Because tournament weekends deserve more than generic hydration.
Soccer does too.
Take care,
PARC
